GDPR Compliance

How we protect your data rights on QRCard.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets rules for personal data in the EU. QRCard aims to collect only what is needed to run digital business cards and related features.

How We Handle Data

  • Data minimization: We collect account details (name and email via Google OAuth or email OTP), the card profile content you choose to publish, mutual-exchange leads shared with you, and lightweight analytics (views and saves).
  • Purpose limitation: Data is used to host your cards, enable Save Contact, show analytics, and deliver leads you capture — not sold to third parties.
  • Control: You can edit or unpublish cards, adjust field-level privacy, and disconnect integrations such as Google Drive.
  • Erasure: Request account deletion at support@qrcard.in. We will remove your account, cards, and associated lead data.

Your Rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have rights to:

  • Be informed about how we collect and use your data.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data.
  • Restrict processing in certain cases.
  • Request data portability where applicable.
